How Dev Toggles handles your information — in plain language.
Dev Toggles (also referred to as "Quick Settings Shortcuts", the "app", "we", or "us") is a minimal Android utility. It provides one-tap shortcuts — available both inside the app and as 1×1 home screen widgets — to Android's own settings screens (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile network, display, sound, battery, storage, apps, privacy, developer options and many more), plus four quick toggles that change a setting directly: flashlight, Do Not Disturb, auto-rotate and ringer mode. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device.
Dev Toggles does not collect, read, transmit, or store any personal information. It has no sign-in, no user profile, and no access to your messages, files, or accounts.
The app never reads your contacts, location, messages, photos, call logs, microphone, camera images, or clipboard. It has nothing to collect because it does nothing other than launch system settings screens on your behalf and switch the four toggles you ask it to.
The app stores two small things in its own private on-device storage: the list of shortcuts you have pinned to the app's first tab, and which shortcut each home screen widget you added should run. Neither is personal information, and neither is ever sent anywhere.
To draw the right icon, a toggle widget checks the current state of the setting it controls — whether the torch is lit, whether Do Not Disturb is on, whether rotation is locked, and which ringer mode is active. These values are read at the moment the widget is drawn, are used only to pick an icon, and are never stored or transmitted. The app does not read the contents of your notifications.
Because the app is built without the INTERNET permission, it is
technically incapable of sending any data off your device.
Opening a settings screen needs no permission at all, so the app asks for nothing at install time. Everything below exists only so the four quick toggles can work, is optional, and is explained in the app the first time you open it — or at the moment you tap a toggle that needs it. None of them give the app access to your personal data.

There is no INTERNET permission, and no access to contacts, location,
storage, messages, call logs, camera images, or microphone.
There is no information to use. The app's only actions are to open a system settings screen and to switch one of the four toggles when you tap a shortcut, a widget or the flashlight notification. It does not profile you, does not serve ads, and does not perform any tracking or processing of personal data. The only background work it ever does is holding the torch on while you have the flashlight switched on.

The app holds no personal data. Its small local preferences — your pinned shortcuts and the shortcut each widget runs — and any placed widgets remain until you:
Permissions you granted are managed by Android, not by us, and can be revoked at any time in Settings — the app keeps working, minus the toggles that need them.
Everything happens on-device, and any app data is kept in Android's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side database that could be breached. You remain in control through Android's system settings at all times.
Dev Toggles is a general-purpose device utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since the app collects no data and has no online component, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age.
Dev Toggles does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or social login providers, and it embeds no third-party trackers or libraries that collect data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since Dev Toggles does not collect or hold any of your personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — full control rests with you on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
