Developer: Dowble Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
🔒
We collect zero personal data
Nbubble does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, or device data. Everything stays on your device.
📋
1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Nbubble Android application ("App"), developed and published by Dowble Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"), available on the Google Play Store.

Nbubble is a notification management app. It reads the notifications delivered to your device by other installed apps and presents them in an organised, grouped view so you can manage them more easily. The App operates entirely on your device — it does not have a backend server, does not create user accounts, and does not communicate with any external service.

🚫
2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, process, store, or transmit any of the following:

  • Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
  • Your location, contacts, calendar, or call history
  • Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, advertising ID)
  • Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
  • Crash logs or error reporting to third parties

Notification content: The content of your notifications (message text, sender info) is processed on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable optional cloud sync or backup features.

Third-party analytics: There are no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries included in the App.

🔑
3. Android Permissions We Request

Nbubble requests the following Android permissions solely to deliver its core functionality. These permissions are used primarily on-device. Some are used to communicate with our servers for optional features (see below).

  • 🔔
    Notification Access (ACCESS_NOTIFICATIONS)
Allows Nbubble to read notification content from other apps so it can display and organise them inside the App. This is the core feature. Notification data is processed on your device.
    Core feature
  • 🖼️
    Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
Used to show notification bubbles or chat heads as overlays on your screen. This allows you to view notifications as floating bubbles over other apps.
    Core feature
  • 📡
    Internet (INTERNET)
Allows Nbubble to connect to the internet for optional cloud sync, theme downloads, and service updates. This data is encrypted and transmitted only with your consent when you enable these features.
    Optional features
  • Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE)
Allows Nbubble to run as a foreground service in the background to continuously listen for and organize notifications. Requires a visible notification while active.
    Core feature
  • 📢
    Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Allows Nbubble to send you notifications about app status, updates, and important events.
    On-device only
  • 💫
    Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED)
Allows Nbubble to restart its notification service when your device boots, ensuring notifications are organized as soon as your phone turns on.
    Core feature
  • 📱
    Query All Packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES)
Allows Nbubble to see which apps are installed on your device so it can filter or identify which apps' notifications to display.
    On-device only

You can revoke any permission at any time via your device's Settings → Apps → Nbubble → Permissions.

4. How Nbubble Works

Core Functionality (On-Device): When you grant notification access, Android routes a copy of each incoming notification to Nbubble. The App reads the notification's title, message text, and source app name, then groups and displays them in its interface. This processing happens locally on your device only and is never transmitted.

Optional Cloud Features: If you enable optional features like cloud sync, backup, or theme downloads, Nbubble will connect to our servers to transmit the necessary data. These features are entirely optional and disabled by default. You will always be asked for explicit consent before any data is transmitted.

Notification data is held in memory while the App is running and is cleared when you dismiss notifications or close the App. Unless you explicitly enable cloud features, nothing leaves your device.

🗄️
5. Local Storage

Nbubble may store minimal preference data locally on your device (for example, which notification categories you have pinned or muted). This data:

  • Is stored only in your device's private app storage
  • Is never transmitted off your device
  • Is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App
  • Contains no personally identifiable information
🤝
6. Third-Party Services

Nbubble does not integrate with or send data to third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services:

  • Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Advertising networks
  • Third-party crash reporting services
  • Social media platforms

Optional Cloud Services: If you choose to enable optional cloud features (cloud sync, backup, theme downloads), Nbubble will communicate with our own servers only. No data is shared with third-party cloud providers without your explicit consent. All communication is encrypted.

Google Play Store: The only external system involved by default is the Google Play Store, which distributes the App and may collect its own installation and update data under Google's Privacy Policy. We have no control over or access to that data.

👶
7. Children's Privacy

Nbubble is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data whatsoever, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data through our App.

🔄
8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality changes in a way that affects how data is handled. Any updates will be posted at dowble.com/privacy/nbubble and, where significant, communicated via a Play Store update note. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

If we add new features that involve data transmission (such as cloud sync or remote backups), we will seek explicit user consent before enabling them and clearly explain what data will be transmitted and how it will be protected.
