How FinCalc handles your information โ in plain language.
FinCalc (the "app", "we", or "us") is an Android suite of financial calculators โ such as loan/EMI, interest, and other money tools โ together with an offline currency converter. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device.
FinCalc processes everything locally on your device only. None of it is transmitted off the device.
When you run a calculation, the app can save the result and the values you entered (for example loan amount, interest rate, and term) to a local history so you can review or reopen it later. This history is stored in the app's private database on your device and is never sent anywhere. You can delete individual entries or clear the whole history at any time.
Your preferences โ such as theme, default currency, and editable currency conversion rates โ are stored locally on the device. The currency converter uses built-in, user-editable reference rates and does not fetch live rates online.
You can export a calculation as a PDF. When you do, the file is generated in the app's private cache and handed to Android's standard share sheet so you can send it to another app of your choice (email, messaging, file storage, etc.). FinCalc only creates the file on request; where it goes afterward is entirely your choice.
FinCalc does not access your contacts, messages, call logs, location, photos, microphone, camera, or accounts.
FinCalc declares no Android permissions. It does not request the INTERNET
permission, so the app is technically incapable of sending any data over the network.
No internetNo locationNo contactsNo cameraNo storage permission
Information stored by the app is used solely to provide its features: performing calculations, keeping a local history you can revisit, remembering your preferences, and generating reports you choose to export. We do not use any information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the features you see in the app.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to anyone. Because the app has no network access, nothing ever leaves your device and nothing is ever sent to us or to any third party. The only data that leaves the app is a report you explicitly choose to export and share. No serversNo third partiesNo cloud
Your history and settings remain on your device until you remove them. You can:
All processing happens on-device and app data is kept in Android's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side database that could be breached. You remain in control at all times.
FinCalc is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no data and has no online component, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age.
FinCalc does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social login providers. It does not embed any third-party trackers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since FinCalc does not collect or hold any of your personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf โ full control rests with you on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
