How ClipPro handles your information — in plain language.
ClipPro (the "app", "we", or "us") is an offline-first Android video editor that lets you import, trim, split, arrange, filter, and export videos directly on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does and does not do with information on your device.
ClipPro processes the following information locally on your device only. None of it is transmitted off the device.
When you import clips, ClipPro reads the videos, images, and audio files you explicitly select so they can be previewed, edited, and combined. The app accesses only the media you pick — it does not scan or upload your gallery.
If you choose to record a clip in-app or add a voiceover, the app uses your camera and/or microphone to capture that content. Capture only happens while you actively start a recording, and the result is saved to your project on the device. The app never records in the background and never transmits captured audio or video.
Your editing projects and auto-saved drafts (clip references, edit timeline, filters, and similar settings) are stored in the app's private storage. Videos you export are written to the location you choose, such as your device gallery.
Your settings — such as theme (dark/light/dynamic), export quality, storage location, and language — are stored locally on the device.
ClipPro does not access your contacts, call logs, location, SMS, or accounts.

Information accessed by the app is used solely to provide its core function: importing and editing the media you choose, recording clips or voiceovers when you ask, exporting your finished video, and remembering your projects and preferences. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the features you see in the app.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your information to anyone. In this version the app performs all processing on-device, so your videos and media never leave your device and are never sent to us or to any third party. All editing happens on-device and app data is kept in Android's private per-app storage, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side database that could be breached. You remain in control through Android's permission system at all times.
ClipPro is a general-purpose creative tool and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no data and has no online component in this version, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age.
ClipPro does not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social login providers. It does not embed any third-party trackers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since ClipPro does not collect or hold any of your personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — full control rests with you on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features change — for example, if optional online or AI features are introduced. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and publish the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
